The heated swimming pool is salt treated, with a water fountain at one end. There are 16 sun loungers surrounding the pool and a very large sun umbrella. There is a poolside bar, with fridge and sink as well as a shower and WC. The pool is surrounded with colourful flowering borders. Echinacia, catmint and verbena form an attractive mix amongst a wider scented mix of flowering borders and shrubs. 3 built in steps lead down into the pool. The pool is 1m at its shallowest and 1.8 m at its deepest. A jaccuzzi is perfectly located, framed by its own stone wall on the adjoining patio to the pool.

This beautifully restored former farmhouse not far from Saint-Cirq-Lapopie in The Lot and dating back to the 18th century combines a blend of rustic charm and modern luxury that feels close to heaven. Several meters to the south eastern corner of the house is the swimming pool (not heated) measuring 12 m x 5 m. It is 1.15m at the shallow end and 2.2m at the deep end. Wide steps lead into the pool on two corners. A paved area surrounds the pool framed by three fine lavender filled roman pots and lavender borders. There are 4 rattan sun beds, 2 lounging chairs and assorted poolside furniture with cushions.

A short walk to the west of the house on the outside edge of the formal garden is the swimming pool set in its own garden area with an African theme. A mother and baby elephant (not real ones!) approach the pool from a willow plantation and a giraffe pokes its head above a tall hedge. The swimming pool measures 5m x 14m and is 1.15m deep at the shallow end and 1.70m deep and the deep end.

Moulin de La Tour was once an olive mill and is quintessentially Provençal, located at the very heart of the iconic landscape of sunflowers, lavender fields and olive groves. Its bedrooms are divided between the grand Main House and a separate Annexe, while the gardens and grounds include a swimming pool, a tennis court and an olive grove. It is within walking distance of Fontvieille where there is a nice choice of restaurants, bars and café’s that enable an appreciation of its delightful farniente atmosphere. It’s a fascinating area, artistically and culturally rich, with masses to do and see locally. Its not far from the Camargue and from the old city of Arles on The Rhone with its fantastic Roman amphitheatre though you may well choose not to stray far from the place.

The swimming pool is fenced but you must make sure all access from the house is also locked to fully secure the access. It has 12 sun beds surrounding the pool and a good number of sun umbrellas providing shade. Bio UV treated – totally natural (basically drinking water). Depth 1m60 measuring 12m x 7m with a slight gradient. Entry is via three built in steps running the full width of the pool. There is an electrically operated pool cover.
